You may have noticed our bind rune by now and might have been wondering what its about. The way we designed the drengr driven bind rune is that all of the runes that phonetically spell our "drengr driven"  are present. |<see the image below>| But also theres a couple other things behind its design.

It resembles a dna strand which represents personal identity & ancestry.

It is a mirror image both vertically and horizontally. this is representational of a holmgang with yourself & fighting the one in the mirror. Which is also a representation for personal accountability and to constantly strive to be better.

 

If you believe that runes that are upside down or backwards cancel each other out, then that could also represent life balance. Everything and nothing.

 

you may have also noticed that it is similar to the web of wyrd. The Web of Wyrd is a concept and symbol in Norse mythology representing the interconnectedness of past, present, and future, intricately woven together by the Norns, the goddesses of fate.

this is a crucial part of its design as it looks Almost that it exists a within the web, as everything does. this represents that the drive to live a life of purpose and intent, or the life like or of Drengr quality and standards, is predetermined and is a part of our fate.

beyond these few, it is also a symbol that represents our values listed in the drengr code of honor, strength, resilience, courage, loyalty, justice, relentless growth, and fearlessness.

for you, our warband, we wish and hope it is a symbol of community and protection.

diving into the individual runes themselves, we hope it brings you awakinging of your drengr self on this journey of life. trust and belief in yourself as well as others lean on and that lean on you. transformation as you feed you need and drive to overcome hardships and keep driving to become better. reciprocity in giving and receiving advice, kindness, and love. patience in any stagnation you may or temporary place you may come into. (Just dont stay stagnant for too long). and positive energy and confidence that comes with overcoming challenges.
